What is the goal of the project?
NHL-Stenden is equipped with a number of industrial robots. It is the Centre’s goal to develop and implement ‘advanced Pick & Place systems’ on the
KUKA KR10 and UR10. These smart systems feature a range of network-independent masters (PLC/PC) and slaves (sensors, actuators, vision) that communicate
over bustopologies by industrial standard protocols.
The development of these systems helps the Centre to connect to the Industry’s agenda
A custom interface for communication with the UR-robot has been implemented. This enables successful 2D bin picking via the vison module in the interface.
